This was another website I did on behalf of Smartclix.com.au. Again I had no real brief and very little content with which to work with and had to design and build the site in the shortest amount of time possible. Also I had no contact with the client at all. So I just had to come up with something I thought would be suitable and proceeded to build and test the site. Unfortunately I came across some issues in Internet Explorer 6 (IE6 - the bane of a web designer's working life!). This took 8 hours to fix which of course I couldn't charge for. The problem was using high quality images with transparent backgrounds. IE6 doesn't support this type of image but can be made to with a lot of trickery. Anyway it all ended up well and I hope the client is happy with it.
