Here is the process that I usually use when designing and building a website from start to finish:
- You contact me and tell me what you are looking for
- We arrange to meet up or communicate via email and / or Skype
- I'll send you an email requesting more information specific to your project
- Using that information I'll write up an estimate and send it to you
- You accept the estimate or tell me to modify it to better suit your budget
- Once the estimate is accepted I'll write up a contract for you which will include the project brief
- You fax me back the signed contract and pay the deposit which is half the estimate
- I start on your website project
- You check it on my development server
- Once checked I move it to your live hosting space and submit it to the search engines
