This is a Joomla powered 'web application' for people who want window tinting done in Australia. The project was less than half complete when the client handed it over to me. It had originally been started by another web design company but for some reason was not finished. I suppose you could say that this was my first fully fledged 'web app' and also my first 'website rescue'.
The design was done by the first web design company. I mocked up a 'installer locator' popup window. As the project was so complex I outsourced the php and javascript coding to a company in India. I managed it all on behalf of the client and in the end it was all done for quite a reasonable budget considering its functionality.
The second site had absolute minimal design work done on it by me as the clients immediate goal was to get it up and running. Basically the tinters website allows window tinters to register thier information. This gets sent to the tintingdirect website where the information be retrieved by using a postcode. The tintingdirect site also has a five step window tinting film chooser and an auto estimator.
